Virtual Event Staff

Get the Shifts is delighted to now offer support staff for virtual events!

In January 2021, Davis Events contacted us to put together a team of Superstars for the chat team for their virtual event. Our Superstars were all able to work from home as they monitored the online chat for the event and engaged with participants. 

The Superstars were selected based on their previous experience working in customer service and tech-based roles. They were also required to have their own laptop and a stable internet connection to allow them to work from home. All Superstars attended a 1-hour training session via Zoom prior to the event to ensure they were all up to speed on what was expected of them.

This remote work opportunity appealed to many of our team who are not in a position to work due to current Covid-19 restrictions. Additionally, because the job was open to staff nationwide, the calibre of staff for the event was excellent.

Following the event, many Superstars expressed a deep interest in working on further virtual events in this way.
