Wave Goodbye to Dry January with this Gin Cocktail Recipe

Cocktail in a glass

Our wide portfolio of trained, flexible hospitality staff means we can connect hospitality businesses with housekeepers, event stewards, waiting staff and more. As cocktail culture continues to rise, we also know that bars and hotels require creative and passionate mixologists.

One of Superstar mixologists, Alex, has been working with us over a year and his delicious, signature serves have been leaving a lasting impression on our clients across Ireland and the UK, both at private parties and in bars.

Alex is a big fan of gin and considers it one of the most-versatile spirits for cocktails.

He says, “Gin is an incredibly versatile spirit with the category as a whole featuring thousands of brands that celebrate different botanicals such as flowers, herbs, fruits and spices and each offering a completely different experience.

“Premium craft gin is an excellent spirit for working with on-the-job as it can pretty much deliver a cocktail regardless of the customer’s preferences and tastes. I love sharing my knowledge with customers when I’m on a shift so that they enjoy their gin cocktail as much as I enjoy making it.”

Alex has shared one of his favourite gin-based cocktail recipes which was inspired by the end of a busy working night on a Get The Shifts job. ‘Shifting Gears’ is perfect for adding to your venue’s gin cocktail menu or for enjoying at home this weekend.
